RIPTIDE WINDS

RIPTIDE WINDS is an Independent competitive ensemble representing Central Florida. Our home base will be in the Kissimmee area. The ensemble was formed from the existing base of RPT Percussion presented by Paradigm Performance Groups.

Over the last few years, we have seen the lack of funding for many local music programs and, unfortunately due to COVID-19, the possibility of no Fall band this coming year. After many meetings this summer, we felt we could form an ensemble to provide an additional outlet for learning and performance opportunities. The Admin Team and instructors have been associated over the years with award winning High School bands, Drum Corps and Indoor Percussion and Guard.

We are seeking musicians (winds & percussion), color guard and dancers. We are looking for membership from those in the greater Orlando area, North to Daytona, East to the Space Coast and West to Polk County. Our goal is to participate in local FFCC contests as well as Winter Guard International and possibly continue into the summer as a DCI Sound Sport group.
